Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Applicant Tracking System is often being mentioned as "ATS" in the HR community. Applicant Tracking System usually refer to a system that allows recruiteres to take care of the entire recruitment process in one place. For instance, an Applicant Tracking System may be integrated with the job boards utilized by recruiters so that job application and related information can be stored in the system instantly. Such system also often allow multiple recruiters within the same organization to view the information obtained in the recruitment process and allow them to arrange interview appointments effectively as well. Background check is one of the key workflows being integrated in the Applicant Tracking System.
