The Sky Post has inquired several HR professionals in Hong Kong including eeVoices about whether job candidate shall inquire about their result a few days after an interview. Our view is that it is not a bad thing as long as the job candidate is polite and be transparent about their motive. For instance, the job candidate might have multiple job offers but this job is his/her first choice. It will be a win-win situation for the job candidate and the employer if the employer is informed about the situation and potentially have a discussion with the job candidate about their internal status or decision.
